Radzi Chinyanganya has been announced as the host of Warner Bros. Discovery's coverage of the World Athletics Championships on Eurosport and discovery+.

The championships, taking place throughout the second half of August in Budapest, are a crucial event leading up to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Eurosport 1 will be broadcasting an impressive total of 68 hours of coverage from the National Athletics Centre in Budapest. Fans can also catch every minute of action on discovery+ and the Eurosport App.

Chinyanganya will be joined by former British athlete Iwan Thomas, who won gold at the World Athletics Championships in 1997 for his performance in the men's 4 x 400m relay. Also joining them is Robert Korzeniowski, a Polish Olympic legend who has won four gold medals in walking events.

Caroline de Moraes and Elisa Lukawski will be reporting live from Hungary, conducting interviews with athletes participating in this prestigious competition.

In addition, to live broadcasts, viewers can look forward to a comprehensive wrap-up show that delves into all aspects of each day's events.

For those looking for specific highlights or moments they may have missed during live coverage, there will also be on-demand clips available on discovery+ and the Eurosport App.

Notably, this marks one of the first times that users can utilize a new timeline marker feature introduced by BT Sport's app within discovery+, allowing them to easily navigate through different points within an event.

Beyond television broadcasts alone, Eurosport’s digital platforms will provide additional content such as news updates, interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes clips.

As for BBC Sport, Gabby Logan and Jeanette Kwakye have been named as lead presenters for their World Championship coverage. Dame Jessica Ennis Hill, Dame Denise Lewis and Michael Johnson will join them throughout the event.

With both Warner Bros. Discovery and BBC providing extensive coverage of the World Athletics Championships, fans can expect a comprehensive viewing experience that includes in-depth analysis from experts in the field.

Whether you prefer to watch via Eurosport or BBC Sport, there are plenty of options available for enjoying this thrilling competition leading up to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
