Omar Marmoush has caught eye of many big clubs this season

Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly showing interest in Eintracht Frankfurt winger, Omar Marmoush. The 25-year-old Egyptian forward has been in outstanding form since his move from Wolfsburg last summer, making him a hot prospect for the upcoming transfer season.

Marmoush joined Eintracht on a free transfer from league rivals Wolfsburg last summer. Since then, he has made quite an impact by scoring 15 goals and providing five assists in just 30 appearances across all competitions for his club. His recent performance in the 1-1 draw with Bochum where he scored a goal further solidified his reputation as a formidable forward.

Eintracht manager, Dino Toppmoller, said:

“Marmoush is extremely important because he brings a positive energy. Not only on the pitch, but also in the dressing room there was a completely different life this week. He brings the music box with him, he has good energy, is a good guy & gives us a lot.”

Eintracht reportedly looking to generate more than £25m

Eintracht manager Dino Toppmoller is not alone in admiring the Egypt international's skills on the pitch. According to German news outlets, both Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have shown keen interest in acquiring this rising star.

However, securing Marmoush won't be easy or cheap for either Premier League club. Reports suggest that Eintracht will demand a fee exceeding £25m before they even consider letting their prized player depart.

Callum Wilson expected to leave Newcastle in the summer

Newcastle is believed to be prioritising a move for a striker this summer after current forwards Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak suffered lengthy spells out of action due to injuries during the current season. This need is further amplified by speculation over Wilson’s long-term future at St James Park as he enters the final year of his contract this summer.

Wilson has attracted attention from several Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and some clubs from Saudi Arabia Pro League due to his past performances with Coventry City and Bournemouth. Despite these interests, Magpies manager Eddie Howe expressed desire to retain Wilson during discussions in the final days of the January transfer window.

Newcastle United manager, Eddie Howe, said:

"He's got big ambitions and we want to keep him here but some things are out of our control. The club is acting with the long-term interests of the club and they have to. Let's see what happens."

The upcoming transfer season promises to be an exciting one with clubs like Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur vying for talented players like Omar Marmoush. While securing such a player comes with a hefty price tag, it could prove to be a game-changer for these Premier League clubs. As sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts, we can only wait and watch how these potential transfers unfold.
