The previously tested fights last year are now set to be stronger with better features to give. There is no stopping when passion meets profession.

Meta’s Director of Metaverse Entertainment Content Sarah Malkin says:

“There are few experiences as riveting as watching an MMA fight live, but not everyone can catch the action in person. VR offers uniquely immersive events, letting fans get up close and personal for every takedown, submission, and knockout with UFC FIGHT PASS in Xtadium and Worlds.”
The deal brings nine Fight Pass events available via Meta’s platforms, the first of which will be Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) 164 on 4th August.
The immersive broadcasts will be available to all UFC Fight Pass subscribers with a Meta Quest 2 headset.
With the feature of a cage-side vantage point and an option to watch the action from a 180-degree viewpoint, fans can often switch between multiple camera angles to get the best view of those action-packed moments. And what better than sharing this moment with your friends, as a gift of social features?
Initially, the broadcasts will only be available via Xtadium, but will eventually find their way to Horizon Worlds before the end of 2023, as part of a dedicated metaverse experience.
