Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, recently found himself in the midst of controversy following a night out. Sarah Adair, a waitress who was present at the party with Rashford, has shared her account of the evening.
According to Adair, Rashford was involved in an argument with a French woman who accused him of kissing another woman. The Manchester United forward was reportedly accompanied by four other people at the party. It appeared to Adair that he had just met the woman he later argued with.
Adair told The Sun that the French woman seemed upset with Rashford over his alleged actions. However, she claimed that rather than apologizing or addressing her concerns, Rashford dismissed them outright.
Sarah Adair, Waitress who was present at the party, said:
"He was with two men and two women. One was clearly a friend and the other girl was French and very beautiful. She seemed to be with Marcus because of how they interacted. It was like he'd just met her."
Adair said Rashford misbehaved with French woman
Adair further stated that despite being accused by this French companion of inappropriate behavior towards another woman at the party, Marcus showed no signs of remorse or willingness to apologize for his actions. She suggested this could be due to his intoxicated state as she claimed he needed help getting into bed due to excessive drinking.
Sarah Adair added:
"I said to Marcus to go out and speak to her and he just said, 'No, I don't care.' He was so drunk at this point that he picked up his own bag and dropped it and all this cash fell out. It was all £20 notes and big wads of it. I reckon there was between £8,000 and £10,000 cash.
"Then he falls back into the wall and I have to kind of scoop him up and on to the bed. He was fully dressed and I reckon he just passed out like that. He didn't even get under the covers."
Manchester United have taken disciplinary action
In response to these allegations and subsequent public scrutiny surrounding their player’s conduct off-field, Erik ten Hag - presumably associated with Manchester United - has confirmed that they are dealing internally with this issue and will not be revealing any details publicly.
Sarah Adair also revealed her lack of surprise when she learned about Marcus missing training on Friday after his Thursday night escapade. She attributed it directly to his heavy drinking from the previous night which might have left him unfit for training sessions next day.
This incident also seems to have affected Rashford's participation in matches as he was left out from playing in FA Cup fourth-round match against third-tier Newport County following Friday’s missed training session. Despite this setback for their star player, Manchester United managed to secure a 4-2 victory and seal their place in the next round.
While this incident has certainly stirred up controversy and raised questions about Rashford's off-field conduct, it is important to remember that these are allegations at this point. The club's internal investigation will likely shed more light on the situation in due course.
