The Legends League Cricket Masters will start on the 10th of March 2023
Fox Sports and Kayo Sports have again come on board as official broadcasting partners of Legends League Cricket in Australia for the second season. The tournament will kick off on 10th March and will run from that date to 20 March. Kayo Sports will be the official digital streaming partner of the league in Australia, while Fox Sports will be the TV broadcasting partner in Australia.
The League has seen major growth after just one season and an increase in demand for media rights clearly indicates the league is proceeding in the right direction.
Disney+ Hotstar and FanCode also recently came on board as digital streaming partners in India
Along with media rights in Australia, League also announced media rights holders for digital streaming in India. The league has signed deals with Disney Hotstar and FanCode, two of India's leading streaming platforms. It is the first time a multiple digital streaming partnership has been signed in India, indicating an optimistic future for the broadcasting industry.
Raman Raheja, CEO and Co-Founder, of Legends League Cricket also spoke on the league's increasing stature in the market and said, “We are extremely pleased as to how the LLC has been able to grow and the huge success that it became last season”.
“The response was absolutely heart-warming, and our aim is to make it a greater sporting spectacle with each passing year. The league has attracted the biggest players from all over the world, and now with two of India’s leading OTT platforms as our partners, we will be able to bring in a whole new set of audiences to be a part of the journey.”
He finished by concluding, “We are super excited with this development and look forward to offering a great experience to our viewers.”
Indian Maharajas, led by Gautam Gambhir, will face Asian Lions, led by Pakistani superstar Shahid Afridi, in the first match of the League on 10th March. With regards to League's roster, this time they have added many new faces like Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, Murali Vijay, Shane Watson, and many more.
