Evision wins IPL 16 media rights for MENA region

IPL will be aired on Evision's channels like CricLife1

It is no secret that the Indian Premier League has been one of the global superpowers so far in terms of financial aspects, as well as their media rights deals that are always attracting a lot of attention. The Evision network has been the latest addition to their impressive portfolio of partners.

In the MENA region, Evision recently secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the upcoming season 16 of Indian Premier League. All IPL's action will be available on Evision's CricLife1 channel, eLife, Switch TV and StarzPlay from 31st March.

The CEO of Evision, Oliver Bramly spoke on the deal and said:

“The acquisition of the exclusive broadcast and media rights for the Tata IPL 2023 is a significant milestone for Evision. The IPL is one of the most anticipated cricket events of the year, and we are thrilled to offer our viewers the opportunity to experience it exclusively on CricLife1. We are committed to providing the best possible coverage of the event and delivering the best in sports and entertainment from local and international content providers.”

The MENA region consists of countries of middle-eastern countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Cyprus, Georgia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, State of Palestine, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Western Sahara.

Evision Network has become a hub of cricket for MENA countries

It isn't just the Indian Premier League that Evision has in their portfolio. They have also been the destination of almost every ciricket match or competition in the Middle East for years now.

Evision recently also streamed Pakistan Super and last year broadcasted T20 World Cup. Not only world cups and league, they are also very engaged in streaming India's and Pakistan's bilateral series as it has a big following in that region.
