In collaboration with social platform X, DAZN will distribute exclusive Club World Cup content

Sports broadcaster DAZN has announced a new partnership with social platform X to promote the upcoming Club World Cup. This move comes on the heels of another significant collaboration with TikTok, marking a strategic expansion in DAZN's digital partnerships.

DAZN has secured a global rights deal with FIFA to broadcast the expanded 63-match tournament, which is set to run from 14 June to 13 July across the United States. In addition, some matches have been sublicensed to Channel 5 in the UK, broadening their reach and accessibility.

As part of its partnership with social platform X, DAZN will share exclusive content from the Club World Cup. This includes real-time highlights that will be available for fans worldwide. Additionally, they plan on utilizing Twitter’s Amplify advertising tools as part of their promotional strategy. These tools offer sponsorship opportunities that can help increase visibility and engagement during the tournament.

Joe Caporoso, president of DAZN digital content division Team Whistle, said:

“As the home of global sport, DAZN is committed to delivering the biggest moments to fans wherever they are. Our partnership with X allows us to bring the excitement of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 directly into the global conversation, reaching millions of passionate supporters in real time.”

Behind-the-Scenes access and fan reactions on TikTok

The recent partnership announcement between DAZN and TikTok promises an exciting array of content for sports fans. The Club World Cup content hub hosted by TikTok will provide behind-the-scenes access, match highlights, creator/athlete takeovers, and real-time fan reactions - creating an immersive experience for viewers.

DAZN's strategic partnerships extend beyond social media platforms. They've also partnered up with "The Rest Is Football" podcast along with well-known football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano for additional coverage during this month-long event. These collaborations aim at providing comprehensive coverage of all aspects related to this prestigious football event – from game analysis by experts like Romano to engaging discussions about match outcomes on popular podcasts like "The Rest Is Football".

DAZN's latest partnerships with social platform X, TikTok, and other content providers demonstrate their commitment to delivering a comprehensive and engaging viewing experience for the Club World Cup. By leveraging these platforms' reach and interactive capabilities, DAZN is set to offer fans unprecedented access to real-time highlights, expert analysis, behind-the-scenes footage, and more during the tournament.
