The deal ensures CazeTV's YouTube channel will broadcast all LaLiga games live from the 2026-27 to 2031-32 seasons

CazeTV, a Brazilian sports streaming channel run by YouTuber Casemiro Miguel, has secured a significant rights agreement for Spanish soccer’s top-tier LaLiga. This deal strengthens CazeTV's position in the country’s sports scene and replaces Disney as the main rightsholder in Brazil.

The agreement covers the 2026-27 to 2031-32 seasons and will see CazeTV’s YouTube channel providing live coverage of all games throughout this six-year contract. Additionally, CazeTV will distribute ancillary content and highlights across its other social media platforms.

This new partnership comes as Disney's five-year rights deal, which ran from the 2020-21 to 2025-26 seasons via ESPN and Fox Sports network, is nearing its end. The current LaLiga season is set to conclude next weekend with clubs playing their final matches on May 23rd and 24th.

Expanding footprint of LaLiga in Brazil

LaLiga aims to expand its footprint in Brazil through this deal. The league has featured several Brazilian legends throughout its history such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Marcelo, Roberto Carlos, Romario Neymar and Bebeto. Currently also it boasts prominent Brazilian players like Real Madrid group Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Eder Militao Endrick Barcelona forward Raphinha Real Betis winger Antony among others.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership stating that "Brazil is a strategic market for LaLiga due to the passion of its fans." He further added that partnering with CazéTV represents an important opportunity to bring LALIGA even closer to Brazilian fans through a far-reaching digital distribution model aligned with how new audiences consume sports today.

Since its launch in 2022, CazeTV has covered action from the men’s 2022 FIFA World Cup and secured rights to all 104 matches from soccer’s flagship FIFA 2026 World Cup. It also acquired domestic rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027, providing exclusive live coverage of all matches on third-party digital platforms. In addition to these acquisitions, CazeTV has added Italy’s Serie A for the 2025-26 season and German soccer’s Bundesliga to its portfolio. The channel also diversified by securing a rights deal with the International Olympic Committee to air the Olympic Games through 2028 and with World Table Tennis (WTT).

Future prospects for CazeTV

This deal comes amid a significant growth period for CazeTV. Its parent company, LiveMode, recently secured soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo as a major investor. In December, LiveMode expanded into Ronaldo's native Portugal with LiveModeTV launching a digital channel and securing rights to top matches from the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Felipe Aquilino, Partner at CazéTV, said:

“Bringing LaLiga to CazéTV means adding one of the most iconic competitions in world football to our portfolio. We're talking about a league that brings together some of the greatest clubs, players, and stories in the sport, with enormous global relevance and a strong connection with the Brazilian public.

“It's content that represents tradition, quality, and immense value for football fans, and it arrives to further strengthen our offering of major sporting events, expanding access and deepening the fan's connection with the best of world sport.”

Ronaldo expressed his excitement about this partnership stating that it will seek to "enrich the ecosystem extending reach involvement of main competitions through broadcasts on YouTube content distributed on all social media platforms."

With these developments in place, it is clear that sports fans have much more exciting content coming their way via Cazé TV.
