Apple have added Spanish language coverage to cater wider audience

Apple's Major League Soccer (MLS) Season Pass is back with a bang for the 2024 season. The most significant addition this year is the inclusion of MLS360 in Spanish, making it more accessible to a broader audience. This move comes as part of Apple's ten-year deal to promote the MLS Season Pass, which serves as the streaming home for all Major League Soccer games throughout each season.

In its debut year in 2023, fans had an opportunity to experience the platform in various languages and formats. The inaugural season introduced an English-language whip-around show titled "MLS360", along with studio coverage and selective broadcasts catering to fans of each team.

The top draw remained Lionel Messi and Inter Miami. As Messi prepares for his first full season in Major League Soccer with Inter Miami alongside Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez also joins them this time around.

MLS clubs' friendlies are also included in the pass

The first game new subscribers can watch will be one of Inter Miami friendlies featuring Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite concerns about Ronaldo’s availability for that game, fans can still enjoy watching the former Barcelona quartet reacquaint themselves on the pitch before the MLS campaign begins.

On February 21st, Real Salt Lake will travel to DRV PNK Stadium for an exclusive match available only to MLS Season Pass subscribers. Following that fixture on February 24th and 25th are a full slate of fourteen games including LA Galaxy vs LAFC as well as four free games open to everyone.

Starting from this season onwards, Tony Cherchi will work alongside Miguel Gallardo and Giovanni Savarese covering all simultaneous kickoffs on MLS360 now available in Spanish language too.

Apple have added new dimension with introduction of Multiview

Another exciting feature is Multiview, now supported on iPad (7th generation) or later and Apple TV 4K devices. This feature allows subscribers to watch up to four games simultaneously.

Apple is also expanding its soccer content with the recent release of "Messi Meets America" on Apple TV+. Upcoming documentaries include "Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend" and a Netflix-inspired version of "Drive to Survive for MLS", available later this year.

The pricing for the MLS Season Pass remains unchanged from the 2023 campaign at $14.99 per month, or an annual subscription option for $99. However, existing Apple TV+ subscribers can avail a discount, getting the pass for $12.99 per month or a one-time payment of $79 for the whole season.

This package includes every MLS game in the 2024 campaign along with access to Leagues Cup and MLS Cup Playoffs making it an enticing offer for all sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts alike.
