In the wake of Tottenham Hotspur's triumphant Europa League victory, manager Ange Postecoglou has hinted at a potential third season with the club. This comes amidst months of speculation over his future, which was put to rest during a euphoric open-top bus parade celebrating their recent success.
Two days after Brennan Johnson’s decisive 42nd-minute goal against Manchester United in Bilbao, which led to a 1-0 victory for Spurs and ended their 17-year trophy drought, the team returned to North London. A white double-decker bus emblazoned with 'Europa League winners' began its journey from Edmonton Green at 5:30 pm before moving down High Road amidst chants of ‘glory, glory Tottenham Hotspur’ from supporters young and old.
An estimated crowd of around 150,000 fans swarmed areas surrounding the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Many climbed onto roofs and bus stops for better vantage points as they awaited further celebrations outside the club’s impressive venue that seats over 62 thousand spectators.

Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham manager, said:
“I told them and they laughed. I told them and they didn’t believe, but here we are,”
“We’re here because of this unbelievable group of people players and staff, absolute heroes led by the legend Son Heung-min, Cuti (Cristian) Romero, James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario. All of them, heroes. They did it all for you, because you deserve it. This club deserves it. And I’ll tell you something, I’ll leave you with this – all the best television series, season three is better than season two. Thank you.”
Captain Son Heung-min and James Maddison couldn't contain their excitement while match-winner Johnson celebrated his birthday amid fireworks let out from the roof of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium alongside blue and white confetti showers.
