Premier League powerhouses Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have been presented with the opportunity to sign Brazilian international and Real Madrid superstar, Vinicius Junior. The 25-year-old left-winger's future has become a hot topic in recent times as he could potentially be on the move this summer.
According to TEAMtalk reports, intermediaries have approached these Premier League clubs offering Vinicius' services. The Brazilian star made his transition from Flamengo to Spanish football back in 2018. Despite initial struggles adapting to Spanish football, he eventually established himself as a key figure in Real Madrid's attack.
Over his tenure at Los Blancos, Vinicius has played 366 games and contributed towards an impressive 219 goals. His efforts helped secure two Champions League titles and three La Liga titles among other trophies for the team. However, despite being an integral part of Real Madrid's setup, his future remains uncertain. Intermediaries have initiated talks with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United regarding the potential availability of this talented player this summer.
Contract negotiations
Vinicius is set to enter the final year of his contract with Real Madrid. While he is open to signing a new deal with Los Blancos', he seeks a salary comparable (excluding add-ons) to that of Kylian Mbappe - close to £500k per week.
Negotiations between both parties have been ongoing for over 18 months now but they are yet reach an agreement on terms. With their latest offer being declared as their final one by Los Blancos', it seems like there might be some room for negotiation still left before any deal can be finalized.
Given that they do not wish lose him without compensation next year when his contract ends; if no agreement is reached, they would be open to offers in the summer.
New home for Vinicius?
The four Premier League clubs have the financial strength to pull off such a move. At Arsenal and Chelsea, Vinicius could significantly bolster their left flank. Meanwhile, at Manchester United and Liverpool, he could potentially become the new leader of their attack.
With Mohamed Salah's departure from Liverpool, there is enough room on their wage bill for a player like Vinicius. It will be interesting to see if any of these clubs make a move for this Real Madrid star in the upcoming transfer window.
While his future remains uncertain at Real Madrid due to contract negotiations; one thing is clear - Vinicius Junior has plenty of potential suitors waiting in the wings should he decide to make a move this summer.
