The audiovisual rights for the previous cycle (2022-2025) were held by Disney Star India’s Star Sports. However, following Disney Star India's merger with Reliance Industries' owned Viacom18 and Bodhi Tree Systems - which led to its renaming as JioStar - it was this newly formed entity that successfully bid and acquired these coveted rights.

In addition to securing Premier League broadcasting rights, JioStar also holds the rights to broadcast matches from Indian Super League (ISL) – India’s premier soccer tournament. These additional rights came its way following its recent merger.
