Gary Lineker, the renowned sports presenter, has seemingly confirmed the ongoing rumours about Maya Jama's relationship with Manchester City defender Ruben Dias. This revelation came during a promotional clip for the newly-formed Baller League.
The Baller League is an exciting new venture set up by KSI. It will see prominent figures like Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer become opponents of Jama as they manage a team called Deportrio. On the other hand, Jama will be joining forces with former Aston Villa women's star Alisha Lehmann to coach MVPs United. All 12 teams are set to participate in the draft pick on Monday night.
In a social media clip promoting this new competition, an unexpected turn of events led to Lineker revealing details about Jama's personal life. After Richards jokingly accused her of making fun of his age and she retorted back playfully, Lineker interjected by saying: "Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us," referring to Dias. Jama responded humorously saying that this is why she doesn't talk to older people because they're so weird.

Jama and Dias have reportedly been dating for several months after meeting at the European Music Awards and were rumoured to have spent New Years together in Ibiza. There have been hints dropped by Jama herself when she claimed that she was learning Portuguese while both were seen wearing matching bracelets.
Dias was also spotted wearing identical Cartier jewellery before Manchester City's Champions League second leg away at Real Madrid which further fuelled these speculations. Last month saw another hint when Maya revealed receiving a giant bouquet of red roses which fans speculated was from none other than Dias himself. Ruben Dias, the Portuguese international, has been a key player for Manchester City under Pep Guardiola this season. He has made a total of 29 appearances for the club and played the full 90 minutes on Saturday during their 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
While there is no official confirmation from either party about their relationship status, Lineker's revelation seems to have added more weight to these rumours.
