Footballco launches Yalla SPL Show in partnership with Saudi Pro League

Footballco, a leading sports media company, has announced the launch of the Yalla SPL Show. The show is a collaboration with the Saudi Pro League and aims to cater to Gen-Z audiences with an English language format.

The Yalla SPL Show is presented by the Barra Bruvvas – a dynamic duo of young football content creators from London who share Middle Eastern heritage. The show will feature highlights from Saudi Arabia's premier football league, including top goals, memorable moments, and intriguing stories.

The content will be published on GOAL’s global YouTube channel which boasts over 40 million fans worldwide. In addition to YouTube, it will also be shared across various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts. These platforms collectively generated 335 million video views in December 2024.

High-energy entertainment-first approach

Mirroring GOAL’s Front Three show's high energy and entertainment-first approach, the Yalla SPL Show promises to keep viewers engaged and entertained throughout its run time. Andy Jackson - SVP of Footballco Middle East - highlighted that besides on-pitch clips; the show would include stories about past and present SPL players along with fun game segments.

Furthermore, it offers features where hosts help fans choose an SPL team to support while also showcasing pre-recorded segments from some of the league's biggest players.

First season climax

The first season of this exciting new venture is set to reach its climax ahead of Al Hilal representing the Saudi Pro League in FIFA Club World Cup scheduled for June this year. This event marks a significant milestone not only for Al Hilal but also for all football enthusiasts following Saudi Arabian football closely through platforms like Yalla SPL Show.
