Anthony Joshua versus Jermaine Franklin is set to be DAZN 1 HD's first mega event
DAZN is finally launching its mixed-sports linear channel in the UK and Ireland following years of speculation in the industry. The channel will arrive on SKY on channel no. 429 from 23 March onwards.
The linear channel launch was made in hindsight due to the upcoming blockbuster boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Jermaine Franklin on 1st April, which is one of the reasons behind the launch. Following that, upcoming fights involving Canelo Alvarez, Katie Taylor, and Ryan Garcia will likely be shown on the channel in the future.
The channel will be included in DAZN's monthly saver £9.99 price with a £99.99 annual subscription price.

DAZN linear channel is set to bring a run of different sports events
The upcoming Linear channel is a mixed sports channel and has big events in its impressive portfolio. The Misfits Boxing events of KSI will be featured in the channel's lineup along with a number of combat sports shows such as Professional Fighters League, MMA Bushido, MMA Naciones, Oktagon MMA, King of Kings, Brave Combat Federation, and Muay Thai For Life.
All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling are also part of its universe from the entertainment wrestling arena. Aside from this UEFA Women's Champions League and Spanish Women's top division, Streetleague Skateboarding, eSports, and extreme sports with Red Bull TV are part of its impressive line-up.
