CazeTV have secured exclusive rights for South American competitions till 2026

CazeTV, a Brazilian sports streaming platform managed by the LiveMode agency and streamer Casimiro Miguel, has secured near-live and highlights rights for several top-tier South American soccer properties until 2026. This move further solidifies CazeTV's position in the competitive sports streaming market.

The recent deal between LiveMode and Conmebol, the South American soccer body, grants CazeTV exclusive rights to broadcast top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions. Additionally, it includes broadcasting rights to the Recopa annual two-legged tie between last season's winners of these competitions.

This agreement will enable CazeTV to create a live program with a reactionary format. Presenters will showcase clips of all decisive moments from each game across these competitions with only a three-minute delay after they occur in real time. Full highlights from each match will be available after the final whistle.

Expanding coverage

This new acquisition complements an existing partnership between LiveMode and Conmebol around broadcasting the women’s edition of Copa Libertadores Femenina. The 2025 Copa Libertadores kicked off on February 4 with qualifying stages followed by group stages taking place across April and May. The knockout rounds are scheduled through late November.

Eight Brazilian teams are set to participate – Botafogo (last season's winners), Flamengo, Palmeiras, Fortaleza, Internacional, Sao Paulo Corinthians, Bahia - making this competition particularly relevant for local fans.

While media rights for this iconic competition are sold regionally across South America; Brazil is unique as its rights are sold separately.

Embracing innovation

Conmebol has highlighted that this partnership underscores its commitment to finding innovative ways to engage young audiences through new technologies and communication methods. Alejandro Dominguez, Conmebol’s president, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership without disclosing further details.

Alejandro Dominguez, Conmebol president, said:

“This agreement with Cazé TV allows us to bring the excitement of our competitions to a young, digital generation, giving them immediate access to the most decisive moments.”

Live Brazilian rights to these competitions are currently held by a combination of Globo, Paramount, and ESPN Brasil until 2026. FC Diez Media is Conmebol’s exclusive partner agency for selling and distributing club competition rights. In addition to South American soccer properties, CazeTV also covers European soccer clubs' UEFA Europa League and Conference League matches as well as the Paulista state competition in Brazil. The platform will also broadcast the Women’s European Championships national team competition later this year.

CazeTV has previously shown live action from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and NFL (American football) international games. All of CazeTV's rights deals are brokered by LiveMode which manages the channel in a joint venture with Miguel.
