The four semi-final spots are now secured as the competition reaches its business end

As we approach the two-legged semi-finals in the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League, it's an opportune moment to examine the bookies' favourites to win, and perhaps visit a no KYC crypto sportsbook to place your bets.

The bookies have been diligently assigning win probabilities for which club will go all the way and capture the top prize in Europe’s third-tier continental competition.

These four clubs have played expertly well throughout the season to reach the final four, but which of those teams is the bookies’ favourite to win the Conference League altogether?

Crystal Palace (11/10 favourites)

Crystal Palace remain the favourites to win the competition this season with bookies, as they were before it kicked off in September. Ahead of Matchday 1 of the league phase, Palace were already tipped by many to win the competition.

After making it through the knockout play-off round against Zrinjski Mostar and a last 16 clash with AEK Larnaca, the Premier League club went on to make light work of Italian giants Fiorentina, beating them 4-2 over two legs in the quarter final.

Despite a less impressive domestic campaign this season compared to the FA Cup-winning campaign last season, the Conference League remains a very realistic route to major silverware for The Eagles in 2025-26.

With Oliver Glasner’s leaving the club at the end of this season, the Conference League represents the only way for the Austrian to leave on a high note. Win this competition, and the campaign will be remembered as a history-making success. Fail to do so, and it will be very much a disappointing one.

A cloud has been hanging over Glasner’s reign at the club in the second half of the season. Despite being a bona fide club legend after winning the FA Cup for the Eagles last term, his largely negative comments about how the club has been run have put a bit of a negative air over him and the team in recent months.

Glasner and Palace both could do with a pick-me-up, and a European trophy would be just the antidote if they can navigate a few more huge matches, starting with the semi-final showdown with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Strasbourg (3/1)

Strasbourg come in as the second favourites/joint second favourites.

After being one of only three teams to go unbeaten during the league phase, topping the table with 5 wins and 1 draw, Strasbourg whaltzed through the knockout phase, barring one slip up against Mainz away from home, to set up a semi-final with Rayo Vallecano.

Unlike Palace, they avoided the knockout playoff, courtesy of their league finish, and then beat Rijeka over two legs in the last 16, and impressed with a 4-0 hammering of Mainz last time out, to make up for having lost 2-0 away in Germany.

They have a host of exciting young players in their squad and a very good coach in Gary O'Neil, who has taken over from Liam Rosenior since the latter's move to Chelsea. Strasbourg represent the greatest threat to Palace's chances in the eyes of many.

Rayo Vallecano (4/1)

La Liga club Rayo Vallecano, who enjoyed a top-five finish in the league phase of this competition, rank third in the current bookies' projections to win the tournament.

After defeating Turkish side Samsunspor in the last 16, they sailed past AEK Athens 3-0 in the first leg, then weathered the storm of a 3-1 second leg defeat to the Greek giants to make it through to the last four.

Like Crystal Palace, they are also 13th in the league, with their domestic form suffering as their long run in the competition has continued.

For Rayo, winning this competition would be huge. Apart from the Segunda, Rayo have never won a domestic or European trophy. For a club of their size, to win the Conference League would be a huge coup.

Their fans will hope they can continue to punch above their weight. To do so, they will have to perform to their very best against Strasbourg in the semis.

Shakhtar Donetsk (5/1)

Unlike Crystal Palace, Strasbourg and Rayo Vallecano, fourth favourites Shakhtar Donetsk have won a European competition before, the 2009 UEFA Cup (now the Europa League).

This means that winning this competition wouldn't even be their greatest achievement, since they've already won a bigger European trophy.

This alone makes the Ukrainians a fantastic outside shot to win here. They have the experience and prestige which the other three clubs lack, being undoubtedly the biggest club of the four.

After dispatching Polish club Lech Poznan, they drew AZ Alkmaar in the last 8, and hammered them 3-0 in the first leg, then drew 2-2 in the second.

Of the four clubs in question, Shakhtar are for sure the best value with bookies. At 5/1, the same price they were before the second leg of the quarters, and only fourth favourites, they are being heavily slept on by the bookmakers and most experts.

They are the biggest club of the four, have a burning desire to make their people proud, when taking into account the current situation in their homeland, and they’ve been here before and won.

With the second leg of the quarter-finals taking place tonight, Crystal Palace, Rayo Vallecano, Strasbourg and Shakhtar Donetsk have all performed brilliantly well in the competition so far.

With every club bringing their own sense of confidence and ability to succeed, as the season reaches its conclusion, we won't have to wait long to find out who is going to win the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.
