White and Tomiyasu are two underrated stars of Arteta brigade

Arsenal Football Club is set to receive a significant boost with key players, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, reportedly on the verge of signing new contracts. This news comes as a welcome development for sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts alike.

Japanese international, Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is currently in his third season with the Gunners after signing from Bologna in 2021, has reportedly signed a new deal with Arsenal. Despite being out of action due to a calf injury, the 25-year-old defender has made an impressive 73 appearances across all competitions for the club.

According to reports, upon his return from injury, Arsenal will announce that he has signed a fresh contract at the club. It is expected that this new deal will see his current £100k-a-week wages double. However, details regarding how long this contract will run are yet to be disclosed.

White’s versatility has been saviour for Arsenal many times

In related news, Ben White looks set to follow suit by signing a new contract at Arsenal which could be finalised before March ends. The defender joined the Gunners from Brighton in a £50 million deal during the same summer as Tomiyasu.

White started out as centre-back before shifting right-back and quickly established himself as an integral part of Arteta's squad. He scored in their recent 6-0 thumping victory over Sheffield United on Monday night and has featured in all but one of their 27 Premier League matches this season.

Arsenal's squad is built to dominate in the years to come

Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly be thrilled with these developments as two of his right-back options commit their futures to Arsenal while they target further success. Currently engaged in a three-horse title race alongside Liverpool and Manchester City - who beat them last season - Arsenal is also in the Champions League last 16.

Despite a 1-0 loss in their Champions League first-leg clash against Porto, marking their second defeat of 2024, Arteta's side has shown remarkable performance since the year began.

They have scored an impressive 31 goals in nine matches across all competitions. Their victory over Sheffield United marked their fifth consecutive Premier League match where they scored at least three goals, indicating a strong potential for another title challenge.

These new contracts signify Arsenal's commitment to maintaining a strong and competitive team. The club's fans and sports betting enthusiasts will be eagerly anticipating how this development will influence the team's performance moving forward.
