This new deal also grants TF1 rights to the two non-French team matches

TF1, the French commercial broadcaster, has secured exclusive rights to air all four finals matches of the UEFA Nations League European national teams tournament. The matches are set to be staged in Germany from June 4th to 8th. euro The acquisition of these rights significantly enhances TF1’s large soccer offering. The broadcaster already holds rights to show two matches involving the French national team – a semi-final match against Spain on June 5 and either the third-placed match or final depending on France's performance.

However, with this new deal, TF1 has now also secured broadcasting rights for the other two matches that do not involve the French team from media outlet L’Équipe. This includes another semi-final of Germany vs Portugal on June 4 and either a third-placed match or final. Consequently, all four finals will be aired exclusively on TF1’s linear channel and its streaming service, TF1+.

This addition complements their existing portfolio which includes this year’s 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship as well as highlights covering French soccer’s top-tier Ligue 1.

Amazon Prime Video enters the fray

In related news, it was recently announced that Amazon Prime Video will offer matches from the UEFA Nations League on a pay-per-view (PPV) basis. This move is part of a wider deal for Amazon to offer all UEFA men's national team matches via PPV through June 2026.

This comprehensive package includes select European qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup in 2026 and European international friendlies along with Nations League play-off games. Moreover, Prime Video also offers up to three Ligue 1 games per weekend available on its marketplace at £2.49 ($3.31) per game for UK fans without any requirement of an Amazon Prime membership.

The acquisition of these additional rights by TF1 and Amazon's entry into the UEFA Nations League broadcasting scene are significant developments for sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts. These moves ensure a wider reach and accessibility to some of the most anticipated soccer matches, thereby enhancing the overall viewing experience.
