From August 15th, SportyNet will broadcast all 41 Coppa Italia matches in Brazil this year

SportyNet, a leading soccer-focused sports content platform in Brazil, has recently secured exclusive broadcast rights for several major soccer competitions. These include the Italian Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana tournaments, Mexico's Liga MX, and select pre-season friendlies involving top European clubs.

The agreement with the Italian Football Federation covers the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons of both the Coppa Italia domestic cup competition and the Supercoppa Italiana tournament. The former is contested by teams across Italy’s top four divisions while the latter features a four-team tournament.

Starting from August 15th this year, SportyNet will air all 41 matches of this year’s Coppa Italia tournament in Brazil. As for the Supercoppa Italiania, it includes all three matches from its four-team tournament to be held in Saudi Arabia between December 18th and 22nd featuring AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Bologna.

Broadcasting Liga MX matches

In addition to these agreements with Italy's football governing body, SportyNet has also secured rights to broadcast two matches per round of Mexico’s Apertura tournament. This includes upcoming live encounters such as América vs Querétaro match tonight (August 9) followed by UNAM Pumas vs Necaxa tomorrow (August 10).

The Apertura playoffs are scheduled to begin on November 19th with finals set for December 11th and December14th. Furthermore, starting from season year of 2026 onwards; both Clausura & Apertura tournaments from Liga MX will be aired on SportyNet.

SportyNet offers coverage options either through pay-TV or its YouTube channel. The platform is accessible on pay-TV through distribution deals with Sky, Claro, and other operators across Brazil. It will also be available on Vivo "in the coming weeks."

Pre-season friendlies involving major clubs

SportyNet will also broadcast several upcoming pre-season friendlies involving major European clubs from the English Premier League (Chelsea), German Bundesliga (Borussia Dortmund), Spanish LaLiga (Real Madrid), and the Italian Serie A (AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Juventus).

The platform plans to air 13 friendlies between August 8th and 17th. These include two matches today – Chelsea vs Bayer Leverkusen (SportyNet + YouTube) and AS Monaco vs Inter Milan (YouTube). These new acquisitions add to SportyNet’s already impressive soccer portfolio that features over 400 live matches annually from Brazil’s second-tier Série B and third-tier Série C leagues, Bundesliga, Coupe de France among others.

These recent developments are a testament to SportyNet's commitment to providing its audience with a diverse range of high-quality soccer content. This move not only enhances their current offerings but also positions them as a leading sports content provider in Brazil.
