Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, has announced plans to speak with winger Alejandro Garnacho following his abrupt exit from the pitch during a recent match against Ipswich. The incident occurred in the first half of the game which ended in a 3-2 victory for Manchester United.
Garnacho was replaced by defender Noussair Mazraoui two minutes before half-time after Patrick Dorgu received a red card. The Argentina international seemed displeased with this decision and headed straight for the dressing room instead of taking his place on the bench.
The weather conditions at Old Trafford were less than ideal, with heavy rain pouring down on players and spectators alike. This led some to speculate that Garnacho wanted to remove his shirt and thus decided to head directly into the dressing room. Speaking about Garnacho’s reaction, Amorim looked content.
