Premier League fans can now watch up to four matches simultaneously

Peacock, the streaming platform, has announced the launch of its Multiview feature for Premier League coverage. This innovative program allows fans to watch multiple matches simultaneously, enhancing their viewing experience.

First unveiled during the 2024 Summer Olympics, the Multiview feature was instrumental in keeping track of multiple events happening concurrently across different venues. Users could select up to four events and switch between them to focus on audio from each division. Now, this exciting feature is coming to Premier League coverage.

Starting December 4th, Peacock subscribers will have access to this new way of watching soccer games. Despite initial doubts about whether this feature would be applicable for Premier League matches as it was for Olympic events, NBC has decided to expand upon its use after successfully implementing it during the November 5th Election Night in the United States.

Step beyond Goal Rush

While viewers may be familiar with GOAL RUSH - a whiparound show focusing on one game at a time - Multiview takes things further by allowing fans a comprehensive view of what's happening across different grounds simultaneously.

This becomes particularly valuable considering there are usually four to six games kicking off at 10 a.m., most of which are exclusively available on Peacock. Previously, fans had only Goal Rush as an option but now they can potentially make one screen in their Multiview setup dedicated solely towards Goal Rush if there are fewer than four games available at that time slot.

Enhancing fan experience

For many sports enthusiasts and bettors alike, Peacock has become an invaluable resource due primarily because half of all Premier League games are simulcast on it along with exclusive access to certain matches each matchday. However, overlapping kickoff times made tracking multiple games challenging until now.

With Americans having access to both Multiview and Goal Rush on Peacock, the depth of Premier League coverage in the United States continues to rise. NBC is keen on maximizing the massive fees it paid for Premier League coverage by providing fans with an immersive viewing experience.

In addition to introducing innovative features like Multiview, NBC has also been working towards hosting more of its Premier League fan fests. The most recent one was held in Chicago. By adding prominent voices from the Premier League and continuously striving to establish it as America's most popular soccer league, NBC is indeed revolutionizing how soccer is consumed in the United States.
