Orlando City has expressed interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward, Richarlison. The Major League Soccer side is reportedly in direct talks with the Brazil international's camp and has presented their project to them.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a senior correspondent at GIVEMESPORT, Orlando City's sporting director Ricardo Moreira led the team to London for discussions about signing Richarlison next summer. However, no official proposal has been made yet either to the club or the player.
While Orlando City is keen on acquiring Richarlison after this season ends, they may face a challenging negotiation process with Tottenham. The North London side views him as an integral part of their team under Thomas Frank and are unlikely to engage in any transfer talks with Orlando anytime soon. However, circumstances could change after this season when Richarlison enters his contract's final 12 months with Premier League side.

Richarlison has been instrumental in Frank’s squad this term. He made 11 appearances across all competitions and scored three goals while providing one assist in the Premier League matches. As Spurs’ top scorer in the competition so far, he featured prominently throughout every game making five starts and two substitute appearances. The forward showcased his scoring prowess by netting twice during a 3-0 victory over Burnley on opening weekend and added another goal during a 2-2 draw against Brighton last month.
Since joining Spurs from Everton back in summer of 2022 for £130k per week deal, he made an impressive tally of 101 appearances for North London club scoring total of 23 goals along with providing 11 assists till date. His contribution was pivotal during last term’s Europa League final where he started off leading Spurs to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United, securing their first major trophy in 17 years.
