YouTube star and influencer, KSI, is taking his talents to the world of football ownership with Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club. This exciting venture is set to be chronicled in a new documentary series titled "Race To The Top," produced by After Party Studios and KSI himself.
"Race To The Top" will follow KSI’s journey into English football ownership, offering an inside look at his role as the owner of Dagenham & Redbridge FC. This series promises to provide fans with a unique perspective on the pressures and possibilities that come with steering a National League South club into a new era.
The documentary series will debut on KSI’s YouTube channel this summer, reaching out to his 17 million subscribers worldwide. It will also be promoted across his social media platforms which have a combined reach of 33.5 million followers (Instagram, TikTok and X). The series is expected to continue into the 26/27 football season.
Behind-the-scenes access
Viewers can expect unprecedented access as cameras track KSI's day-to-day activities running the non-league side. From strategic decisions to operational challenges, fans will get an intimate look at what it takes to run a football club.
The episodes are set for international appeal too - they'll be dubbed into 14 languages ensuring that viewers around the globe can enjoy this unique insight into English football management.
The production team behind "Race To The Top" includes some notable names from both sports documentaries and YouTube content creation. Ben Doyle (aka RVBBERDUCK), who previously directed another successful documentary about KSI titled "KSI: Can’t Lose," has been roped in as director for this project too. Executive producers include Jamie MacDonald and James Byfield for After Party Studios, along with KSI and Mo Syed, head of content for KSI. Alysha Christal is the producer.
Production underway
Production has already begun and will continue at Dagenham & Redbridge FC's upcoming game against Dorking Wanderers. This match marks a significant milestone as it will be the first game that KSI attends as an owner.
