DAZN Germany reported a significant 45% increase in total viewership for the semi-finals from the 2022/23 season to the 2023/24 season. Although specific viewing figures were not provided by DAZN, this surge indicates an escalating interest in this prestigious tournament.

The Manchester United v Liverpool match on March 17th, 2024 attracted record-breaking viewership on DAZN Spain and Japan platforms. Meanwhile, for Italian fans tuning into DAZN Italy, it was Manchester City vs Chelsea semi-final held on April 20th that garnered maximum attention.

Premier League interviews made big impact on DAZN Portugal

On both DAZN Spain and Portugal platforms, Liverpool v Manchester City match (10 March 2024) emerged as the most-watched game of this season. The Manchester United v Manchester City match (29 October 2023) also made it to top three most-watched league matches.

The total viewership for this season on DAZN Italy reached a staggering 210 million.

The most popular match attracted an audience of more than 1.6 million viewers.

Same story in La Liga

For both DAZN Spain and Portugal, the Barcelona v Real Madrid match held on October 28th, 2023 was the most-watched game this season. Barcelona's clash with Girona also ranked in the top three in both regions. Additionally, DAZN Spain’s “El Clásico de una Nueva Generación” programme drew a large audience from LaLiga fans.

Women’s football increasing global reach
