Kickin' It will air on the free-to-stream CBS Sports Golazo Network

CBS is set to add another new show to its Golazo Network, with Kickin’ It expected to air in September. The show will be an interview-based weekly series hosted by Kate Abdo, alongside former USMNT players Clint Dempsey, Maurice Edu, and Charlie Davies.

All four will be taking a more conversational approach to talking about the beautiful game, instead of providing their usual CONCACAF international competition coverage. The show will also feature a wide range of guests from across the football world.

The premiere of the show will be the first of a two-part episode that will feature World Cup and Champion League winner Thierry Henry, while other USMNT players Jozy Altidore and goalkeeper Matt Turner will also feature.

Abdo, Dempsey, Davies and Edu already have chemistry as they have previously worked together on CBS Sports. Now, they are ready to take on a new show, which will focus on the kind of organic dialogue and storytelling they are known for.

CBS is highly recognised as a leading football network that continues to expand, making it home for football lovers with studio shows, live matches and now a new cutting-edge interview show. From the NWSL to the Champions League, La Liga to the Bundesliga and beyond, CBS Sports Golazo Network has everything that lovers and followers of the game need.

Kickin’ It has joined Morning Footy, Box 2 Box (both are the daily shows) and Attacking Third (telecast three times per week) on the CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Kickin’ It will bring a natural take on coverage and provide a more personal touch. Over the years, CBS has formed an excellent crew that is experienced both on the field and in the TV world. With special guests also set to feature on a regular basis, soccer fans in the US have a lot to look forward to.
