CazeTV, a Brazilian sports streaming platform, has announced that it will broadcast all 104 FIFA World Cup matches next year. This move marks a significant milestone for the platform, which is run by LiveMode agency and streamer Casimiro Miguel.
The streaming service has acquired rights to every single fixture from the event scheduled between June 11 and July 19 next year. The tournament will be held across Mexico, the US, and Canada. This follows CazeTV's successful coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup where it streamed 39 games and gained an impressive following of over five million subscribers.
In addition to its independent coverage, CazeTV will also share broadcasting rights with Globo for half of next year's tournament games. Globo is a dominant Brazilian broadcast network that holds rights to air 52 fixtures including those featuring Brazil's men’s national team.
Strategic partnership with Globo
The partnership between CazeTV and Globo was established through an agreement struck in late 2022. The original deal stipulated that Globo would not hold exclusive rights to the tournament - a decision reportedly made due to financial considerations.
This shared broadcasting arrangement was unveiled during the build-up to the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup in July last year. Notably, this event was also covered by CazeTV through collaboration with global rights-holder DAZN. Following these announcements, promotional content began circulating on social media platforms highlighting CazeTV’s upcoming coverage of what promises to be an exciting tournament featuring forty-eight teams from around world footballing community.
Brazilian fans have high hopes for their national team at each World Cup given their record-breaking five-time championship wins. Despite losing at quarter-final stage against Croatia in Qatar during the 2022 event, Brazil has already qualified for next year's edition.
CazeTV’s growing sports portfolio
Since its launch in late 2022, CazeTV has been making waves in the sports broadcasting industry. It has covered some of the most high-profile sporting events worldwide including last year's Paris Olympic Games and NFL American football games played internationally.
In a recent development, CazeTV secured near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties through to 2026. This was made possible by a deal between LiveMode and Conmebol South American soccer body that granted CazeTV rights to broadcast top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions.
With these developments, it is clear that CazeTV is rapidly becoming an essential platform for sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts alike.
