The 2025 edition UEFA Nations League is set to come to an exciting conclusion with the usual mini-tournament to crown a winner taking place from June 4th to June 8th in Germany. Several betting sites, some even offering free bets, including betting.bet UK are already offering odds on who will win the Nations League this time.
The four two-legged quarter-finals were played out during this international break and four of the very biggest nations in European football have booked their places to compete for the title.
The Allianz Arena in Munich and the MGP Arena in Stuttgart will play host to the semi-finals, third-place playoff and final.
Defending champions Spain are the only team from the 2023 finals to make it to the final four again, with the Netherlands, Italy and Croatia being replaced by Portugal, France and Germany.
There is plenty to be excited about for this mini-tournament, but which of these European powers will win the whole thing? Let's find out what the bookies think.
Spain (9/4 favourites)
Spain have been on an impressive run, remaining unbeaten in all competitions for their last eighteen matches. They have not lost a game since their home defeat by Switzerland back in September 2022.
During this time, they have won the 2023 UEFA Nations League and more significantly Euro 2024.
In their recent match against the Netherlands, they managed to secure a spot in the semi-finals following a thrilling penalty shootout, after an intense draw at full time. Barcelona midfielder Pedri clinched victory with his successful penalty kick that sent fans into wild celebrations at the Mestalla in Valencia.
Germany (5/2)
Germany have shown great potential under Julian Nagelsmann's leadership and made it into the semi-finals for the first time despite facing stiff competition from Italy.
Their win over Italy in the semis was marked by some notable moments including Joshua Kimmich's successful penalty kick and Jamal Musiala capitalising on Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s mistake.
France (3/1)
France are hoping to win this competition for a second time after their success back in 2021 under Didier Deschamps' guidance.
They recently managed to eliminate Croatia from the competition after a dramatic penalty shootout. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan and defender Dayot Upamecano played crucial roles in securing their victory.
Portugal (5/1)
Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, showed great resilience and determination to make it to the mini-tournament finals of the Nations League.
Their thrilling encounter with Denmark ended with Portugal progressing via Francisco Trincao's goal seconds into extra time and Goncalo Ramos' late goal sealed their victory.
The 2025 UEFA Nations League promises to be an exciting tournament filled with thrilling matches and high stakes. With Spain returning as defending champions, they are certainly one of the favourites for this year's title. However, Germany, France, and Portugal have also shown impressive performances that make them strong contenders for the title.
