South American live streaming service to bring coverage of World Champions to US and Canadian audiences

Newly crowed World Champions Argentina will return to action this week, for the first time since their triumph at Qatar 2022, as they face two friendly matches against Panama and Curaçao.

Both games will take place in Argentina, to allow for further celebration among Argentine fans, and both will be available to watch in the US and Canada on live streaming service Fanatiz.

Fanatiz is a South American based over-the-top streaming platform, focused predominantly on Latin American sports.

The games against Panama on Thursday 23rd March and Curaçao on Tuesday 28th March will be available exclusively via pay-per-view on Fanatiz for North American audiences.

Fans will need to pay $29.99 to access the two-game bundle, as well as a docuseries produced about Argentina's triumph at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In an interesting spin, Fanatiz offers consumers plenty of options in terms of their viewing experience. Fans will be able to enjoy the games in English, in Spanish or without any commentary at all, which is quite unique in the sports broadcasting sphere.

Led by talismanic captain Lionel Messi, Argentina beat defending champions France in the final of the 2022 World Cup, which sparked scenes of unbridled jubilation on the streets of the capital Buenos Aires and across the country.

Various parades and other celebrations followed, and now some months later, this international break will give supporters further opportunity to bask in the glory of being world champions.

There are also plenty of Argentine people, and especially Argentina fans, present in North America who will be overjoyed at this deal to air the two matches on Fanatiz, which will allow them to join in the celebrations at home.

Many of the key players from that World Cup winning squad, including Messi himself, Angel Di Maria, Enzo Fernandez, Julian Alvarez and Emiliano Martinez, have been included in Lionel Scaloni's squad for the two international friendlies.

61st ranked Panama are no match for Argentina, but have at least qualified for a World Cup themselves, back in 2018 when they made their one and only appearance. Curaçao, on the other hand, are ranked 86th in the FIFA official rankings and have never appeared on the world stage.

These two ties will likely be more about Argentina flexing their muscle and giving their fans something to cheer about than genuinely strenuous competition.

Included in the Fanatiz $29.99 Argentina two-game bundle is a seven-day free trial for the live streaming service, after which the cost rises to $9.99 per month.

These games could give North American viewers a window into what Fanatiz is all about. The OTT platform is relatively new in the game, and with its innovative approach to audio commentary, could intrigue some football fans across the pond.

For $9.99 per month, Fanatiz subscribers get access to the top leagues in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and elsewhere, as well as other elite sports events from around the world.
