The team is dangerously close to surpassing their club record of 19 defeats in a single Premier League campaign. However, there remains hope that they could salvage their season by clinching victory in the Europa League.
Despite these challenges, there are growing indications that Postecoglou may leave Tottenham at the end of this season regardless of how they fare in Europe. This could either be through dismissal or mutual agreement between him and the club management. The Australian coach faces a crucial test as Spurs take on Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals.
