Little Dot has significantly contributed to the WSL's journey to becoming the most-followed domestic women's football league globally

The Women’s Super League (WSL) and the Women’s Championship have announced the renewal of their social media partnership with Little Dot Sport. The collaboration will see Little Dot Sport continue to create engaging social content and manage YouTube channels for both leagues.

Little Dot's sports division will persist in managing the pair's YouTube channels, which feature live match streaming, highlights, and long-form content. They will also deliver real-time matchday coverage using live clip rights and photography. Additionally, they are tasked with community management across the WSL and Women’s Championship’s social platforms.

This partnership has been ongoing for four years now. During this period, the WSL has grown to become the most-followed domestic women's football league globally - a testament to Little Dot's effective digital strategy.

Dedicated team support

Little Dot provides a dedicated team of social media managers for Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL), offering strategic support and direction across various social platforms. This dedicated team ensures that fans stay connected with their favorite teams while providing an engaging platform for new followers.

For the first time ever, Little Dot is formally contracted by WPLL - an organization that took over running operations of both leagues from The Football Association (FA) last year. Catherine Rowley, head of brand marketing at Women’s Professional Game expressed her excitement about this renewed partnership.

Catherine Rowley, head of brand marketing, Women’s Professional Game, said:

“Little Dot Sport has been a fantastic partner in driving the growth of our social platforms, helping us engage and expand our audience in new and innovative ways. Their deep understanding of the women’s football community and shared commitment to elevating the game have been instrumental in our social media success. As we enter this next phase, we have bold ambitions to take our digital presence to the next level, and we’re excited to continue working together to bring fans even closer to the action.”

Robbie Spargo, managing director, Little Dot Sport, said:

“Whilst working with the brilliant Women’s Professional Leagues team over the past four years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth in fan engagement, and this renewal gives us the perfect platform to inspire even more fans and the next generation of players. Our goal is to bring fans closer to the action, tell the amazing stories of these athletes, and amplify the visibility of women’s football worldwide.”

This news should excite sports fans worldwide as it promises more engaging content and a better digital experience. For sports betting fans, this means more real-time updates and insights to make informed decisions.
