With the popularity of the beautiful game continuing to grow in North America, there is no shortage of top soccer pundits on US television.

Not only are there lots of great American pundits out there, but there are also plenty of high-profile analysts from across the world working for broadcasters such as NBC and ESPN.

Without further ado, here are five of the best soccer pundits on US TV.

Rebecca Lowe

If you already know a thing or two about soccer on US television, the chances are that you’re familiar with Rebecca Lowe. After all, the English-American presenter is the lead studio for NBC’s coverage of the Premier League in the United States.

After working for the BBC, Setanta Sports and ESPN, Lowe was hired by NBC Sports in 2013 and swiftly became a pivotal part of the team. A decade later, Lowe is now among the most recognizable faces and voices in the industry.

Robbie Earle

Like Lowe, Robbie Earle joined NBC Sports back in 2013. The ex-Jamaica international was initially hired as a lead studio analyst for the broadcaster’s Premier League coverage before going on to join the commentary team.

Earle racked up more than 500 appearances during his playing days, representing Port Vale and Wimbledon in England. Now, the 58-year-old uses his experience to offer analysis and insight into the beautiful game.

Jurgen Klinsmann

Jurgen Klinsmann has featured regularly on US television since he retired as an Orange County Blue Star player back in 2003. The iconic German worked for ESPN during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and has been a mainstay on the channel ever since.

The former striker fired West Germany to World Cup and European Championship glory before managing the USMNT between 2011 and 2016. He is now a lead Bundesliga studio analyst for ESPN FC and the head coach of the South Korean national team.

Tim Howard

Having chalked up 399 Premier League appearances for Manchester United and Everton – keeping 133 clean sheets along the way – Tim Howard uses his vast experience to dish up expert insight on popular NBC Sports shows such as Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone.

Howard is undoubtedly one of the best pundits on NBC, NBCSN and Peacock, as the former goalkeeper offers first-class analysis owing to his time at the top of the game. Whether he’s in the studio or behind the commentary microphone, the legendary shot-stopper does not disappoint.

Robbie Mustoe

Former English player Robbie Mustoe moved to the United States after hanging up his boots, working as an analyst and commentator for ESPN. After working on the World Cup, UEFA Champions League and La Liga, he moved to NBC as a studio analyst for the broadcaster’s Premier League coverage.

Mustoe made almost 500 appearances in the Premier League and Football League as a player, operating as a midfielder for Oxford United, Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday. As a result, he is among the best soccer pundits on US TV.
