Stats Perform also won rights for selected fixtures from the second and third tiers of men's football

Sports technology giant, Stats Perform, has recently secured international betting video rights for the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and Scotland's women's top-flight SWPL competition. This exclusive deal will allow the company to distribute live-streaming video feeds of SWPL and SPFL matches to international sportsbooks, thereby enhancing their offerings.

Stats Perform will be taking over from IMG Arena in this role. The transition is expected to bring a new level of dynamism and innovation to the distribution of live streams from these leagues.

Subscribers of Stats Perform’s Bet LiveStreams service stand to benefit immediately from this development. They will gain access to live game streams of matches from both the men’s top-tier Scottish Premiership and the women’s SWPL. Additionally, select fixtures from the second and third tiers of men's football, as well as games from other competitions like the men's League Cup, lower tier SPFL Trust Trophy, and women’s SWPL Cup will also be available.

Leveraging advanced technology

The partnership between Stats Perform and SPFL, SWPL is set to leverage cutting-edge live-streaming technology along with Opta data. This collaboration will introduce advanced features like AI-powered Instant Highlights and Opta Smart Stats Overlays. The AI-powered Instant Highlights feature uses artificial intelligence algorithms to generate match highlights instantly, providing viewers with key moments without delay.

SPFL chief executive, Neil Doncaster, said:

“Stats Perform’s team and technologies are trusted by top sports federations globally, as well as billions of fans. Their experience as pioneers of live sports streaming for licensed sportsbooks means our fans also tap into a wealth of innovation in that world.”

Andrew Ashden, Stats Perform chief betting officer, said:

“The SPFL group, with SPFL and SWPL competitions, brings another heavyweight set of well-timed, high-octane football betting rights into our package. Its teams, players and historic rivalries are very popular with global fans. The SPFL and SWPL games sit perfectly alongside our top calibre competitions from England, Spain, Italy and many more, making our AI-enriched service critical to any licensed sportsbook globally that has football fans as customers.”

On the other hand, Opta Smart Stats Overlays is an innovative tool that enhances the viewing experience by overlaying statistical data on top of live footage. These features are not only designed to offer an immersive viewing experience but also provide valuable insights into each game. Such in-depth analysis and real-time information can prove invaluable for sports betting enthusiasts who rely heavily on such data for making informed wagering decisions.

Expanding portfolio with EFL addition

In addition to securing rights for SPFL and SWPL matches, Stats Perform has also added England Football League matches, which organizes second-tier through fourth-tier soccer leagues in England, to its Bet LiveStreams service. This move further expands the company's portfolio and solidifies its position as a leading provider of live sports streaming services for international betting platforms.

The acquisition of SPFL and SWPL betting video rights by Stats Perform marks a significant milestone in the company's growth trajectory. By providing access to live streams from these leagues, Stats Perform is set to enhance the offerings of international sportsbooks while also offering an enriched viewing experience for sports fans and bettors alike. With advanced features like AI-powered Instant Highlights and Opta Smart Stats Overlays, viewers can look forward to not just entertainment but also valuable insights into each game.
