JAS aims to reach 3 million subscribers in the first year by delivering top-tier sports content across three countries

Football enthusiasts in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia can now enjoy live broadcasts of the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup via Monomax and AIS PLAY applications for the next six seasons. This exciting development was announced by Jasmine International (JAS), the official licensee granted by The Football Association Premier League Limited.

The announcement came during a press conference titled "New Season, New Home" on Wednesday. The event marked collaborations with several partners including Mono Next (MONO) and Advanced Info Service (AIS), demonstrating their readiness to broadcast these world-class football leagues.

JAS aims to deliver top-tier sports content to over 25 million households across these three countries. They are targeting 3 million subscribers in the first year alone with expected revenue surpassing 10 billion baht.

Celebrating a milestone

Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer at The Premier League congratulated all partners who successfully acquired broadcasting rights in this region. He emphasized the large fanbase present here as well as its potential for media growth. He also highlighted this milestone as a unique connection to fans in Thailand while expressing expectations for collaboration reaching new heights.

Dr Soraj Asavaprapha, CEO of JAS shared insights into how they acquired these rights through an auction process that began last year. It required careful financial study along with competition against major players.

Dr Soraj Asavaprapha, CEO of JAS, said:

"We believe that by working together, we can offer high-quality English football content, excellent commentary, and accessible pricing strategies, along with other incentives like lucky draws and film screenings. We are confident customers will be happy and enjoy the experience,"

Package prices revealed

For the first time in this event, the package prices were unveiled. The Monomax monthly package is available at a cost of 299 baht per month or an annual rate of 2,999 baht. However, AIS customers have been given a special offer where they can purchase the same package for just 199 baht per month or 1,999 baht per year until August 9th. These packages are comprehensive and provide access to all 380 Premier League matches, along with 63 FA Cup matches and 51 FIFA Club World Cup matches. Additionally, subscribers will also be able to watch every Thai League match as well as various films and series.

The event was graced by legendary football stars David James, Ryan Giggs, and Robert Pires who flew directly from the UK for this occasion. The celebration also featured a special show "OneShot" by artists including Athiwara "Toon Bodyslam" Kongmalai, Nattawut "Golf F.Hero" Srimhok, the famous rapper, and girl group THX.

Adding to the excitement was Miss World 2025, Suchata “Opal” Chuangsri's appearance in a special show with the Premier League Trophy exclusively for this event. This development marks an exciting time for football fans in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia as they can now enjoy live broadcasts of their favourite leagues right at their fingertips.
