Long time leader in the world of entertainment and sport live streaming changes its name in pursuit of simplicity as the brand hopes to bring more quality viewing pleasure to anyone who wants it.

Fans of the beautiful game in the UK are more than familiar with the name Now TV. They run ad campaigns in almost every area of media from TV and radio to podcasts and blogs. Many people are already using their service to live stream matches on a regular basis, as well as other entertainment content. The flexibility and value for money they offer is unrivalled in the market. However, fans will now have to start getting used to their new name - Now.
What does this news mean for football fans?
Alongside the name and logo rebrand, Now are updating their language. What was once known as the Sports "pass" will be called a "membership" starting with the unveiling of a nationwide campaign on the 19th March. Audiences new and old are now being encouraged to join the Now community and get a membership to watch movies, entertainment or of course sports. Each membership can be supercharged for an extra £3 per month with Boost, which allows you to watch all that content in HD and Dolby Digital surround sound, and also means you can live stream across three devices simultaneously. This new identity is also evident in the naming of Now's award winning, contract free broadband plans which you can cancel anytime, including the aptly named Brilliant Broadband, Fab Fibre and Super Fibre. Marina Storti, Managing Director at NOW, said the move will help "marry our world-class quality with brilliant simplicity"
Fans can still watch all of the same games they did before from Sky Sports channels through Now, but with some new flexible membership options.
What are the best Now offers for UK fans?
Now are still going to offer a variety of great memberships for fans of entertainment, sport, cinema, you name it. They also have a lot of different broadband deals. Check out their website to see exactly what suits you. In the meantime, I think these are the two best options right now.
Offer 1: Sports Membership + Boost
With the Sports Membership, you get access to 11 Sky Sports channels for £33.99 per month. You can register up to six devices on one single account, but to stream on multiple devices at once you will need Boost. Good news is that when you join with this offer you also get a 7 day free trial of Boost. If you enjoy the benefits of streaming in full HD and surround sound and on various devices simultaneously, you can continue boost for £3 extra per month. With this offer you can watch on your TV, desktop, selected smart TVs or Apple and mobile devices - simply download and install the app to watch games. Another fantastic thing about the offer is that it is contract free and you can cancel anytime! Not only will you enjoy all that live football but you will also have access to over 1000 hours of highlights, documentaries and more on demand to stream whenever you choose. With no commitment necessary, start streaming your favourite content on your favourite devices with peace of mind.
*Boost free trial only available to new customers. Other terms and conditions apply.
Offer 2: Sports Day + Mobile Month Membership
A cheaper option is the Sports Day (formally known as the Sky Sports Day Pass) and Mobile Month membership. With Sports Day, Now offer one full day of 11 Sky Sports channels live, but you also get 5 months of Mobile Month. This means you can stream 5 channels, including Sky Sports Premier League, on your Apple or Android smartphones with the Now app for five months after making only one payment of under £10 - incredible value. If you follow a Premier League team, Mobile Month is a particularly good offer.
Mobile Month lacks some of the perks of the Sports Membership because you can't watch on TV or other devices and you miss out on 6 of the 11 Sky Sports channels, including Sky Sports Football - particularly important for fans of Championship clubs. That being said, if you're a busy bee always on the go and don't want to miss out on big top flight games, less than a tenner for 5 months of Sky Sports Premier League in your pocket to watch on the train or at your desk on a break, not too bad. You also get Sky Sports News which is always great to keep an eye on while going about your day.
Of course you will still get 24 hours of all 11 channels on TV or whatever devices you want after you make your one-off payment. Join Now and start streaming on your smartphone wherever you are!
*Mobile Month Membership activated within 10 working days. Offer ends 28/03/21. Other terms and conditions apply.

What games can I watch on Sky Sports channels with Now this weekend?
It's going to be a big weekend in the Premier League with a host of great games to choose from on channel Sky Sports Premier League which you can watch through a Now subscription on multiple devices.
Of particular interest should be Friday night's game between Fulham and Leeds. With two dynamic managers with attacking philosophies, and Fulham desperate for a win to get out of the bottom three for the first time in a long time, this could be a fantastic game. One thing is for sure, Leeds always provide entertainment. As long as the two coaches don't cancel each other out, we should be in for a treat.
Brighton v Newcastle on Saturday may not have the same stylistic appeal but there is plenty of intrigue with both teams in need of three points to bolster their hopes of survival.
Aston Villa's clash with Spurs on Sunday evening could also be a good shout. Tottenham will need to bounce back from their derby defeat by Arsenal and have a good week in the Europa League and here to quash concern among fans, and a win for Villa will mean they are still firmly in the hunt for the European places.
| Date | Time | Match | Channel |
| Friday 19 March | 20.00 UK time | Fulham v Leeds | Sky Sports Premier League |
| Saturday 20 March | 20.00 UK time | Brighton v Newcastle | Sky Sports Premier League |
| Sunday 21 March | 15.00 UK time | West Ham v Arsenal | Sky Sports Premier League |
| Sunday 21 March | 19.30 UK time | Aston Villa v Spurs | Sky Sports Premier League |
