The Former Chelsea star also addressed a fake quote controversy

Former Arsenal and Chelsea player, Cesc Fabregas, has recently found himself at the center of a heated debate surrounding two of England's most promising right-wingers - Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer. However, he has firmly distanced himself from the controversy by dismissing a quote attributed to him as fake.

A tweet circulated online suggesting that Fabregas had declared Saka as superior to Palmer. It also claimed that the current Como 1907 manager stated that Palmer would not secure a starting position for top-tier teams like Arsenal, Manchester City or Liverpool.

The post was viewed over a million times and quoted Fabregas saying: "I assure you that Palmer cannot get a starting spot at any EPL top 6 except maybe Manchester united and Tottenham. Saka walks in every team on the Universe. For me this debate is irrelevant," with the poster claiming the debate was closed.

However, Fabregas swiftly denied these claims and called for an end to what he considers an unnecessary debate.

Praise for both players

Despite being dragged into this controversy, Fabregas took time to appreciate both players' performances in their respective Premier League clubs this season.

Saka has been instrumental for Arsenal with seven assists in just as many games leading his team towards another title race. On the other hand, Palmer boasts six goals - including four against Brighton - along with five assists which earned him September's Premier League Player of The Month award.

Former Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, said:

"The danger of social media is people really believe anything they read. No need to compare players, England are lucky to have 2 amazing talents, just enjoy them! #Fake!"

Exciting time for English football

Unfortunately due to injury concerns, Saka had to withdraw from England's squad but is expected back on field next weekend against Bournemouth. As debates around these two talented players continue unabatedly among fans and pundits alike; it will all culminate when Arsenal faces Chelsea at Stamford Bridge come November.

While the Saka vs. Palmer debate rages on, Fabregas' stance is clear - he appreciates both players and believes such comparisons are unnecessary. As sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts, it's important to remember that each player brings unique skills to the table and contributes significantly to their respective teams.
