CBS Golazo Network is set to hit screens on April 11 and will be the first soccer-specific television channel in the United States.

American soccer fans will be treated to both live and past broadcasts of matches, pregame and postgame coverage, additional studio shows and other unique features such as films and documentaries.

The highlight of the new channel will be a two-hour show titled Morning Footy, which is scheduled to air every weekday. On that show, pundits and experts will cover a wide range of leagues and competitions, from the UEFA Champions League to Major League Soccer.

Speaking to World Soccer Talk, Pete Radovich, the VP of Production and Creative Director of CBS Sports, expressed his excitement regarding the launch of CBS Golazo Network.

“We’re always looking to innovate, always looking for new ideas on ways to expand not just our properties, but the sport in general,” Radovich said. “We’re pretty excited about what things look like so far.”

Not only will CBS Golazo Network cater to lovers of European football, but it will also place a big emphasis on North American soccer, according to Radovich.

“Obviously, we’re going to focus as much as we can on storylines that matter to American fans. If that’s American players in Europe, or if that’s MLS and NWSL, we’re going to do that,” Radovich continued. “If you are an MLS fan, this is without question a place for you to tune in.”

CBS Golazo Network will be available on the CBS Sports website, CBS Sports app for compatible TV devices, CBS Sports mobile app and Pluto TV. On top of that, you will be able to access the channel via Paramount+.

So, whether you’re crazy about European football, or you love American soccer, be sure to check out CBS Golazo Network from April 11.
