CazeTV, a Brazilian sports streaming platform, continues its aggressive acquisition of broadcasting rights with the latest addition being the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship matches. The tournament is set to take place in Switzerland next July and will feature national teams from across Europe.
The announcement was made on CazeTV’s social media accounts over the weekend. This comes hot on the heels of their coverage of the men’s equivalent Euros that took place in Germany between June 14 and July 14. The deal for this event was announced last December, with GlobalData Sport estimating it to be worth $8.25 million.
CazeTV has been steadily increasing its portfolio of women's soccer coverage. In mid-2023, they provided coverage for the FIFA Women’s World Cup matches held in Australia and New Zealand. They also hold rights to broadcast this year's women’s version of South America's Copa Libertadores clubs tournament.
Expanding into American football
In an exciting development last week, CazeTV secured domestic rights for American football’s NFL first-ever game in Brazil scheduled for September as part of a wider media rights deal.
All these deals are brokered by LiveMode agency which manages CazeTV as a joint venture with streamer Casimiro Miguel.
Eyes on Women's Euro 2025
The upcoming 2025 Women’s Euro is set to take place across eight Swiss venues between July 2 and July 27 next year. This move by CazeTV further solidifies their commitment towards promoting women's sports events globally while providing fans with access to high-quality live streams.
In related news, Fox Network announced in late June that they had acquired US broadcasting rights for this championship.
This series of acquisitions by CazeTV not only demonstrates their strategic growth but also highlights their commitment to providing diverse and inclusive sports coverage. As the platform continues to expand its portfolio, sports fans and betting enthusiasts can look forward to a wider range of events from around the globe.
