Casemiro hasn't been playing with his usual touch this season, though he's been dealing with injury issues

Manchester United's star midfielder, Casemiro, is reportedly preparing to exit the club in the upcoming January transfer window. According to reports, he believes now might be the best time for him to start a new chapter in his career.

The £300,000-a-week player seems open and willing to leave Old Trafford permanently this summer. Interestingly enough, Manchester United themselves are also prepared to sell the player they spent £60 million on.

Several clubs have expressed interest in acquiring Casemiro’s services. Saudi Pro League clubs have shown keen interest in this former Real Madrid player who has made quite an impact during his tenure at Manchester United.

Casemiro is also on the wishlist of Paris Saint-Germain, with Luis Enrique reportedly eager to add an experienced midfielder to his squad

In addition to Saudi Pro League clubs, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has also been linked with Casemiro. The French giants are known for their aggressive recruitment strategy and could provide an exciting new platform for Casemiro's talents.

United manager Erik ten Hag has previously described Casemiro as “magnificent”. His departure would undoubtedly leave big shoes to fill from the Manchester United squad given his significant contributions on and off the pitch.

However, it seems that both parties believe it may be time for change - perhaps indicating that there may be strategic shifts or new opportunities on the horizon for both Manchester United and Casemiro himself.

While fans will undoubtedly miss seeing him donning red at Old Trafford every week if he does indeed depart this summer; they can take solace knowing that Casemiro's decision is not one made lightly.

As we approach the January transfer window, all eyes will be on Casemiro and Manchester United to see how this situation unfolds.
