Sergio Reguilon has just returned from Manchester United, and many clubs are interested in signing him

Bournemouth is reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Sergio Reguilon. The 27-year-old player has recently returned to the Spurs after a loan spell at Manchester United where he struggled for game time.

Reguilon's return to the Spurs this month was reported by The Times following his surprise stint at Manchester United. However, it appears that he will remain out of Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the foreseeable future.

According to reports, Tottenham is considering either selling or loaning out Reguilon for the rest of the season. Several clubs have shown interest in acquiring him including Bournemouth, Sevilla and Villarreal. Earlier reports suggested that Borussia Dortmund also had an eye on Reguilon.

It remains unclear whether these clubs are open to a permanent deal with him. However, finding a buyer this month would significantly boost Tottenham’s plans.

Andoni Iraola’s side - Bournemouth - has been one of the standout Premier League clubs over recent months despite their 3-1 loss against Tottenham last weekend which marked their first defeat since November start. Between these periods they won six out of seven games played.

Villarreal and Sevilla are also reportedly interested in getting him back to Spain in addition to Bournemouth

This makes a potential move to Bournemouth exciting for Reguilon as they play some brilliant football under Iraola's leadership. With both Milos Kerkez and Lloyd Kelly currently injured there lies an opportunity for new players like him.

Tottenham should consider sending him somewhere where he will get ample playing time with an ultimate goal being recouping as much of their £32 million investment as possible.

While La Liga clubs like Villarreal and Sevilla are not having their best seasons right now (with Sevilla just above the relegation zone), a return to Spain might appeal to Reguilon. However, Tottenham needs to consider whether he will be able to thrive at either club given their current performance and the fact that he would be joining midway through the season.

While Bournemouth's interest in Reguilon is clear, it remains uncertain where his future lies. Whether it's a permanent deal or another loan spell, one thing is certain - his next move will be closely watched by sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts alike.
