AC Milan and Gatorade have announced the renewal of their partnership, a move that will see the PepsiCo group’s brand continue as the official sports drink of the Italian club's men’s and women’s teams. This collaboration is set to focus on promoting Serie A and UEFA Champions League matches.

The renewed partnership between AC Milan and Gatorade is also set to focus on improving sporting performance. This will be achieved through a series of initiatives aimed at sports enthusiasts. The collaboration is also expected to promote Serie A and UEFA Champions League matches, further enhancing the visibility and reach of these prestigious football events.

Maikel Oettle, Commercial Director of AC Milan, said:

“We are enthusiastic about renewing our partnership with Gatorade, a prestigious and significant brand in the world of sport. This collaboration further strengthens the Club’s commitment to achieving excellent performances, helping us to keep our players at the top of their game. We are proud to continue on this journey, contributing to the Club’s success on and off the pitch.”

Gatorade's scientific approach to sports nutrition

Gatorade will continue to build its scientific foundation on the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI). The GSSI conducts research on the impact of nutrition and hydration on the human body before, during and after physical activity. This scientific approach to sports nutrition is expected to provide valuable insights that can help improve the performance of AC Milan's players.

Marcello Pincelli, CEO of PepsiCo Italia, said:

“We are proud to confirm that Gatorade will continue to be by AC Milan’s side. The consolidation of this partnership is for us, once again, a source of great pride as well as evidence of our shared values of determination and desire to achieve ever more ambitious goals. Gatorade’s mission has always been to fuel the performance of every athlete.”

PepsiCo's extended partnership with AC Milan

The partnership renewal also extends to other brands of the PepsiCo group. PepsiCo is confirmed as the official supplier of the San Siro stadium’s refreshment areas and bars. This includes its Pepsi, Pepsi Zero, Seven Up, Lipton, Lay’s and Doritos brands. These brands will be available for all the Rossoneri’s home matches, providing fans with a wide range of refreshment options.

This renewed partnership between AC Milan and Gatorade, along with the extended involvement of PepsiCo, is a significant development for Serie A fans. It promises to bring about improvements in sporting performance, while also enhancing the match-day experience for fans.
