TrueVisions, a leading pay-television broadcaster in Thailand, has once again secured the rights to broadcast the UEFA European Championship national teams soccer tournament. This move comes as part of a last-minute deal that will allow Thai sports fans to enjoy all 51 Euro 2024 matches live.
The network is set to broadcast all matches from the 24-team Euro 2024 tournament, which will be held across ten German cities from June 14th to July 14th. This continues TrueVisions' tradition of covering the Euros, following their successful coverage of the previous tournament in 2021 (which was delayed from its original schedule in 2020 due to COVID-19).
For this year's championship, TrueVisions plans on providing comprehensive coverage across multiple platforms. Soccer enthusiasts can catch all the action on satellite and cable TV as well as online platforms.
TrueVisions defeated NBT and TV5 to clinch deal
The games will be covered under various packages offered by TrueVisions including Platinum, Gold, Super Family, Sport Family, Smart Family and Happy Family. The first game is scheduled at an early morning slot - kicking off at 2am on June15th for Thai football fans.
In addition to TrueVisions' coverage of Euro tournaments over recent years; state-owned broadcaster NBT and commercial network TV5 also showcased Euro matches during the previous edition in Thailand.
Recently struck deals for broadcasting rights have seen other networks join forces with UEFA too. In late April this year Sport24 - an inflight and on-ship entertainment service owned by international sports agency IMG - renewed its agreement with UEFA for broadcasting rights during this year's championship.
