Premier Sports, a renowned sports broadcaster, has announced that it will air more than 800 live football games this season. The coverage includes matches from Scottish football, LaLiga, Coppa Italia and DFB Pokal. In addition to these leagues, the broadcaster has expanded its international football offering by adding Dutch Eredivisie, Argentine Primera División and Campeonato Brasileiro Serié A for the 2025/26 season.
This move marks a significant expansion in Premier Sports' international football portfolio. Subscribers will now have access to live coverage of Dutch Eredivisie, Argentina’s Primera División and Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A league.
In every round of the newly added leagues, Premier Sports will be broadcasting a selection of matches. This includes two matches from the Dutch Eredivisie, two from Argentina's Primera División and another two games from Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. This ensures that fans of these leagues will have consistent access to live games throughout the season. This new arrangement ensures that fans have an extensive selection of live games to choose from throughout the season.
Premier Sports CEO, Richard Sweeney, said:
“We’re proud to bring our customers even more football from every corner of the globe. From Scotland’s three major competitions to the best of European football, and all the way to Brazil and Argentina, Premier Sports now delivers over 800 live games every season.”
Renewed deal with LaLiga
Last week marked another milestone for Premier Sports as they renewed their deal with LaLiga. As part of this agreement, except for the Saturday 8pm match slot which is excluded in their contract terms; every other match will be shown live and exclusive on Premier Sports over the next three seasons.
Apart from these major leagues and tournaments; weekly games from Spain’s Segunda División and LaLiga Hypermotion are also featured on Premier Sports' schedule alongside Coppa Italia and DFB-Pokal. Furthermore, the broadcaster provides in-depth coverage of Scottish football throughout the season from the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Premier Sports Cup.
This expansion by Premier Sports is a significant step towards providing sports fans with an extensive range of live football content.
