Portuguese League is currently home to many hot prospects

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish player has been in scintillating form this season, netting his 31st goal during the recent Taca da Liga match against Benfica.

Gyokeres' impressive performance has not gone unnoticed by the three English Premier League (EPL) heavyweights. Scouts from all three clubs were present at the game where Sporting Lisbon triumphed over Benfica with a 2-1 scoreline.

The Swedish striker boasts an £86 million release clause in his contract with Lisbon following his £20.5m move from Coventry City last July. Despite Arsenal's financial constraints earlier this year, it is believed that they are now considering signing Gyokeres when the transfer window reopens.

Manchester United have Benfica duo on their wishlist

Manchester United seems to be focusing their attention on young talents Joao Neves and Antonio Silva of Benfica. The Red Devils' scouts have spent considerable time watching these Portuguese stars play both domestically and in European matches.

Neves has a hefty release clause of £102m which could potentially increase if he signs another deal with Benfica. Silva can be acquired for £85m but due to significant investment resulting in over £60m in loans, Benfica might be forced to accept lower offers.

Bruno Fernandes already has voiced support for João Neves

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, has voiced his support for any potential move that would bring his fellow countrymen to Old Trafford. Despite a firm statement from Benfica denying official discussions with United about selling Neves earlier this year, the future of these young talents remains uncertain.

The 19-year-old Neves did not assure whether he will stick with his current employers beyond this summer when he spoke last month. His focus is purely on Benfica and their forthcoming matches.

The upcoming transfer window promises to be an exciting one as Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United look set to battle it out for some of Europe's most promising talents.
