CBS will continue to broadcast Serie A for English-language viewers

As the 2024/25 European soccer season kicks off, American broadcasts of certain leagues have found new homes. Among these, FOX Deportes has made a significant move by securing the rights to broadcast Italy's top-flight league, Serie A.

FOX Deportes has stepped in and signed a two-year deal to broadcast Serie A games to Spanish-language viewers across America. This agreement ensures three games each week will air on linear TV, with every game available on the Fox Sports app.

The deal also allows FOX Deportes to discuss Serie A during its other programs, such as Total Sports 360 and soccer debate show Punto Final. This is particularly significant given the American talent on display in Serie A. Spanish-speaking audiences will now have no issue watching players like Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah, Timothy Weah and Weston McKennie playing their club soccer.

Additionally, Mexican Johan Vásquez and Canada’s Tajon Buchanan play in Serie A - further emphasizing the CONCACAF influence in this league. Now Spanish-speaking fans in the United States can watch each game of this competition.

This new deal represents a significant step forward for sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts alike. It ensures that American audiences have access to one of Europe's top football leagues regardless of their preferred language of broadcast - English or Spanish.

As we move into a new era of soccer viewership where inclusivity is key; partnerships like these are set to bring European football closer to American fans than ever before.
