Disney+ has announced the renewal of its popular docuseries, "Welcome To Wrexham," for three more series. The show, which follows the fortunes of football club Wrexham AFC under the ownership of Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, has gained significant traction among sports fans and sports betting enthusiasts.
The fifth series is set to debut on 15 May, extending the docuseries to a minimum of eight series. It chronicles the journey of Wrexham AFC, whose fortunes have seen a dramatic upturn since being acquired by Reynolds and McElhenney. The club's success story under their stewardship has been nothing short of remarkable.
Fans can look forward to one new episode streaming weekly from 15 May onwards. The upcoming fifth series will follow Wrexham’s first season in the Championship after achieving three consecutive promotions. It will also cover their ambitious attempt at securing promotion to the Premier League at their first try.
