We've got you covered. Read on to find out all you need to know about Viaplay. What's more, be sure to check out Oddschecker for free bets, tips and more.

Viaplay recently entered the UK market after its acquisition of Premier Sports. Now British football fans can enjoy live matches on TV and via live streaming from a host of competitions across Spain, Portugal, Scotland and further afield.

How to watch Viaplay in the UK

There are several ways to access Viaplay in the UK. You can watch their channels on traditional television via your existing provider like Sky or Virgin, you can live stream matches on the Viaplay website or you can even download the Viaplay app to your favourite devices.

The Viaplay app is compatible with most mobile phones, smart TVs, tablets, firesticks, desktop computers and other devices.

How much does Viaplay cost?

However, you won't be able to access this content without becoming a member. Here's how:

Head to the Viaplay website, and sign up either on a monthly or annual basis.

A monthly subscription costs £14.99 per month and can be cancelled anytime. For this, you get access to a bunch of high quality football, other elite sport, as well as films and TV shows.

Alternatively, you can save a little money by purchasing an annual contract up front which works out at £11.99 per month over the year, and represents a 20% saving.

Whatever your budget or level of commitment, Viaplay have you covered.

However, if you happened to be an existing Premier Sports customer, don't worry. You can sign up for a Viaplay account on the Viaplay website and access all of this at no extra cost.

What to watch on Viaplay

Viaplay owns the broadcast rights to a bunch of elite sporting events from around the world, including a whole host of football.

From the world of club football, you can watch the Spanish La Liga, Liga Portugal, Coppa Italia, the Scottish Cup and more.

In terms of international football, Viaplay also acquired the rights to Euro 2024 qualifiers, including those featuring home nations Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, in the UK, and also UEFA Nations League action.

That's not all. Viaplay also bring elite PDC darts, URC rugby union, KSW mixed martial arts, NASCAR, NHL ice hockey and much more to their customers via live streaming and on linear television.

Viaplay looks to bolster its UK football portfolio

Viaplay subscribers will also be happy to know that the Nordic live streaming disruptor shows no signs of stopping. It is looking to boost its position in the UK market in the coming years.

Reports suggest that Viaplay will look to pick up live streaming rights to the English Football League (EFL) for the next rights cycle starting in 2024.

It already owns the rights to show live streaming coverage of the EFL overseas, in 10 countries across Europe, but to snatch those domestic rights in the UK itself would be a huge coup for the company and its subscribers.

On top of that, they have already nailed down the exclusive rights to show coverage of home nations matches from Euro 2024 qualifying.

Since purchasing Premier Sports last year, and taking on board all of their UK rights to football competitions, Viaplay has showed its ambition to grow in the British market.

While prices are low, this might be the best time to sign up to an annnual commitment, before the company manages to attain more high profile competitions, and is ultimately forced to raise its monthly subscription costs.
