Rodrygo says he is not interested even if any bid comes from any club

Real Madrid star player, Rodrygo, has recently addressed the rumours linking him with a move away from the club. The Brazilian international has been associated with Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester City. However, following Real Madrid's recent UEFA Champions League triumph over Dortmund at Wembley on Saturday night, Rodrygo made his intentions clear.

The Spanish team secured an unprecedented 15th Champions League title thanks to second-half goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior. This achievement puts them far ahead of any other European club in terms of Champions League honours; AC Milan is the next most decorated team with seven titles, followed by Liverpool and Bayern Munich on six each.

Rodrygo has been a key part of Real Madrid since his transfer from Santos in 2019. In his five years in Spain so far, he has scored 54 goals and registered 41 assists across all competitions.

Man City and Liverpool reportedly keeping close eye

Despite his success at Real Madrid, there have been speculations about the future of this 'special' player as described by Ancelotti. The arrival of Kylian Mbappe along with another Brazilian prodigy Endrick have raised questions about whether there will be room for Rodrygo in the squad.

Liverpool have shown interest in signing him for some time now while Manchester City was also tipped as a potential destination by Spanish outlet MARCA should he decide to leave Bernabeu.

However, it seems that these rumours are unfounded as journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Rodrygo intends to stay put in Spain and honour his contract extension signed last November. After their victory on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium against Dortmund, he reiterated this sentiment stating that he had no intention to move anywhere else.

Rodrygo, Real Madrid star, said:

“This week some media said about bids, clubs, interest… I don’t know anything about it and I’m not interested. Even if there are proposals, I have no idea about that… I’m staying. I’m happy here. How can I leave Real Madrid?”

Mbappe’s arrival can change Rodrygo’s game time

In other news, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly completed his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid. The French international's contract at PSG expires this summer and he will be joining the La Liga club on a free transfer.

Romano reported that the deal has been signed and completed, with Real Madrid set to unveil the superstar as early as next week. This move had been anticipated since February when it became clear that Mbappe would not be extending his stay in Paris.

Despite rumours linking him with Liverpool and Manchester City, Rodrygo seems determined to stay at Real Madrid and continue contributing to their success. With the arrival of new talent like Mbappe, it will be interesting to see how things unfold for Rodrygo in the future.
