FuboTV, the sports-centric OTT streaming platform and internet TV service, has extended its exclusive rights to broadcast English football's top-tier Premier League in Canada through the 2027-28 season. This move solidifies Fubo's position as a leading provider of live sports content in Canada.
The three-year extension begins with the 2025-26 season and will see Fubo continue to stream all 380 Premier League matches along with additional shoulder programming. This deal reaffirms Fubo's commitment to providing Canadian football fans with access to high-quality live broadcasts of their favorite sport.
Since the 2022-23 season, Fubo has been the exclusive home for English top-flight football in Canada. The platform is also home to Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison, a Canadian player who made his national team debut against Mexico in a Concacaf Nations League match earlier this year.
Expanding football portfolio
This renewal significantly strengthens Fubo’s football portfolio within Canada. In addition to Premier League matches, it exclusively streams Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana games; France’s Ligue 1; matches from both men’s and women’s Canadian national teams; games from the Canadian Premier League; and South America's Copa Libertadores club competition.
In contrast, within US borders, Fubo holds exclusive rights only for select European national team matches from UEFA.

While football is undoubtedly a significant part of its offerings, it isn't all that Fubo provides for sports enthusiasts. The platform streams over 100 live sports events across various disciplines including NBA (basketball), MLB (baseball), NHL (ice hockey), and IPL (cricket).
