DAZN, the renowned international sports streaming service, has successfully extended its rights to broadcast Spanish soccer's LaLiga in Germany and Austria for an additional five years. The over-the-top (OTT) platform has also added Switzerland to its portfolio under the new agreement.
The early renewal comes as a strategic move by DAZN with its current deal set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season. This extension ensures that DAZN will continue to show live all matches from LaLiga through the 2030-31 campaign.
Under this new agreement, DAZN secures exclusive rights to air all 380 annual LaLiga fixtures. This means sports fans can enjoy uninterrupted access to every thrilling match from one of Europe's top football leagues.

In addition to live matches, shoulder content and ancillary programming are also included in this exclusive rights package. Subscribers will have linear and streaming access not only to matches but also LaLigaTV’s 24/7 English channel along with any additional content it provides.
LaLiga has been available on DAZN in Germany and Austria since the launch of the platform in these two countries back in 2016. The league enjoys a significant following due largely because of interest in top clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as popular players like Real’s German international Antonio Rudiger and Barca goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
This partnership was further solidified when media rights tenders were launched by Spain's top league earlier this year across several major European markets including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

In addition to securing extended broadcasting rights for LaLiga, DAZN also holds rights to the domestic Bundesliga and Italy’s Serie A in Germany. This broad portfolio of top-tier football leagues further strengthens DAZN's position as a leading sports streaming service.
